Our Purpose
Jackson Park Baptist Church exists for the purpose of bringing glory to Jesus Christ. We believe the greatest good for man is to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This conviction drives us, a community of believers to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ in our gatherings through the reading of His Word, singing of His praise, seeking Him in prayer, and serving of one another ( Acts 2:42-47). This conviction also drives our efforts of missions as we seek to serve the Jackson Park community and extend out to serve the nations with the gospel of Jesus Christ (Matt.28:18-20). Thirdly, this conviction drives us as a community to reflect the love of Christ through our love for each other as revealed in scripture (John 13:35).
